Bernardini – Kelli Cat
Bernardini as a broodmare sire has made a lasting impact on the breed. In May of 2021, he became the youngest stllion in history to hit the mark of 50 black-type winners as a damsire.
The mare’s first foal, an Uncle Mo filly brought $370,000 as a yearling. She has a top yearling this year by American Pharoah and one of the nicest foals of the crop, a Maclean’s Music colt born in late April.
Due to her late April foaling, we were unable to get the mare back in foal this year. She’ll be ready to be bred early in 2024.

CJ’s Gal foaled a filly full sibling to Hidden Connection on 4/6/23. She has been bred back to Good Magic for a foal of 2024.

The mare has a Quality Road yearling filly going to Book 1 at the Keeneland September sale. The mare does not have a foal of 2023, but is in foal to Champion Flightline on an early cover..

Lady Shipman is the dam of Golden Pal, a sire now at Ashford Stud, and winner of the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Turf Sprint (G2) and the Breeders’ Cup Turf Sprint (G1).

The mare has top colt by Charlatan born in February of 2023 and she’s back pregnant to #7 nationally ranked sire Munnings for a foal of 2024.
